Weekly worship includes congregational song, prayer, scripture reading, preaching, choral music, and the sacraments of baptism and holy communion. For 2023, worship is thematically focused on a year long journey through scripture, from Genesis to Revelation. Worship is also available on the local radio station 95.5 and the church's Facebook page.
All are invited to participate in the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion.

Children (Pre-K to 5th grade) gather monthly for fellowship, learning, outreach, and fun. This safe place allows kids to gather and begin learning the stories of faith about God's love for them and the world. This ministry is led by Karen Higdon, Director of Children's Ministry. Youth (6th-12th grade) meet each Wednesday night for food, fellowship, Bible study, and discussion on the 2nd floor of the Community Life Center. In addition to weekly gatherings, there are additional times of gathering for retreat, outreach, mission projects, and fun events. Brad Mills, Director of Youth Ministry, leads this area of ministry.
Choir rehearsal is held each Wednesday from 6-7pm in the Sanctuary under the direction of Margaret Crafton and Mike Katrutsa. You are invited to try out the choir at any time. No prior choral experience is required or needed.
Sunday school classes for kids and adults meet each week. The Totally Awesome Kids class meets on the 2nd floor of the education building and the class is led by Karen Higdon (Director of Children's Ministry).
The Seekers Adult Class led by Gary Troutt meets on the 1st Floor adjacent to the Fellowship Hall.
Nursery is available during the Sunday school hour.
Throughout the year, Pastor Adam leads short term and long term Bible studies and book groups to deepen an understanding of scripture and God's story. The study is on summer break and will resume in August with Covenant Bible Study.
Throughout the year, the church hosts mobile food pantries at the church distributing a tractor trailer's worth of food to the community. These events are held on Saturday morning and scheduled throughout the year. Specific dates will be shared in worship announcements and on social media.

Located in the Community Life Center, the Thrift Shop is open for shopping on Tuesday and Saturday from 9:00AM-12:00PM.
There are additional opportunities during the week to assist the Thrift Store by receiving and sorting clothes on non-shopping days. To serve, contact the church office.
In times of natural disaster, war, and other events of mass suffering, special collections are held and forwarded to partner organizations. Often it is the United Methodist Committee on Relief that receives these funds as they do hurricane relief in the southeast, tornado and flood relief in Tennessee and Kentucky, and refugee assistance throughout conflict areas around the world.
Camden First UMC maintains emergency food boxes for families referred by the Benton County School System. These food boxes are distributed twice a month to families. Your giving to this ministry maintains
Each Thursday, church and community groups serve a hot drive thru meal to approximately 100 neighbors starting at 5pm. If your group would like to prepare and serve the meal one week, please contact the church office for more information.
Each summer, the staff of Lakeshore United Methodist Camp and Retreat Center host a four day camp on site at Camden First UMC for community children. This week long camp is usually scheduled immediately following the Memorial Day holiday. Ages 6-12 are invited to participate.
